MAIRA BENCHIMOL

ADULT DIVISION BALLET & POINT

Maira was born and raised in southeast Brazil and when she was 7 years old her mother realized how creative and active she was, so she decided to enroll her in ballet classes.

Since then ballet has been her absolute passion! She graduated from Royal Academy of Dance with distinction and participated in the most prestigious dance festivals and competitions in Brazil.

She always loved being around young kids and was fortunate enough to mix both of her passions when she began teaching ballet in dance studios and preschools.

After getting a bachelor degree in Physical Education and a post graduate degree in early childhood education Maira was able to share her knowledge and has been teaching kids and teenagers for many years both in Brazil and in the USA. 

Her experience has helped her understand that every individual is unique and has a different  mental, physical and emotional developmental.

She is honored to be a part of this amazing team!
