ERICA BORDEN
ACADEMY BALLET, MODERN & CONTEMPORARY
Erica Borden is in her second year with Ballet Florida. A product of the South Florida dance community, she carries out her passion for dance by teaching at several studios and Ballet Florida. She received her pre-professional training under Magaly Suarez, Director of The Art of Classical Ballet and danced two years in the Professional Division of Nashville Ballet. Through her advanced years of training, she placed at the top of prestigious ballet competitions and was mentored by international master ballet teacher, Olivier Pardina. Erica trained summers with Ballet Met, Ballet West, Houston Ballet, Ellison Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet. Her favorite roles are Arabian pas de deux and Paquita with Florida Classical Ballet. She cherishes all her extensive repertory experience as soloist and corps de ballet in performances of Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Don Quixote.
